_{Why Proof of Stake?}

PoS is a modern and environmentally friendly consensus algorithm.

PoS comes with a number of improvements, including: energy efficiency, lower barriers to entry, stronger crypto-economic incentives, and greater revenue-generating capabilities for a broader set of users.
Proof-of-stake underlies certain consensus mechanisms used by blockchains to achieve distributed consensus. In proof-of-work, miners prove they have capital at risk by expending energy.
Cosmos uses proof-of-stake, where validators explicitly stake capital.
Among most PoS algorithms, we preferred the consensus algorithm developed by the Tendermint team
